Charlotte

(20 miles from Lansing State Capitol) Downtown Charlotte features a number of great restaurants, pubs, a farmers market, specialty shops, and many historic sites and buildings. Here you will also find a great deal of neighborhood parks providing opportunities for a fun day in the sun.

Dewitt

(9 miles from Lansing State Capitol) Just north of Lansing this family-friendly city boasts a quaint downtown shopping district nestled along the banks of the Looking Glass river. Enjoy the amenities of small town living such as a farmers market, vast agricultural lands, beautiful parks, multiple commercial districts and recreational areas including Sleepy Hollow State Park, and numerous inland lakes and rivers.

Dimondale

(10 miles from Lansing State Capitol) Nestled on the banks of the Grand River, Dimondale is a quaint village with a small-town atmosphere. Here you can find numerous parks and recreation activities including a paddle through history on the Middle Grand River Heritage Water Trail, a must do for kayakers, canoeists and anglers alike. Or grab some fresh locally produced and grown food at the local farmers market.

Eaton Rapids

(18 miles from Lansing State Capitol) Called the Island City, this idyllic community is located at the juncture of the Grand River and Spring Brook. Enjoy a quiet walk alongside the river or discover the abundant downtown district, where you can get a cup of java, grab some tasty goods at the farmers market or sit in one of our nearby parks.

Grand Ledge 

(10 miles from Lansing State Capitol) Just a short drive west of Lansing, situated along the Grand River, this picturesque city got its name from the river and the 300-million-year-old sandstone ledges that tower along its banks—known as the Ledges. In the heart of downtown Grand Ledge discover historic buildings filled with unique shops, places to grab a bite to eat or quench your thirst with a microbrew. Family-friendly parks, scenic views of the Ledges and the local farmers market also can be found in a short walk along the Grand River.

Mason

St. Johns

(20 miles from Lansing State Capitol) Famous for its mint production due to the rich black soil that surrounds this agricultural community, St. Johns also boasts a beautifully preserved downtown area. Stretching out from the exquisite Clinton County courthouse you will find the inviting streetscape of downtown St. Johns. Explore endless and diverse boutique shops, galleries, eateries and cafés, as well as the local farmers market hosted just outside of the Clinton County courthouse.

Williamston
